Swedish Massage
Swedish is a general description of a relaxing massage. The focus is stress relief and relaxation. We include hot towels and a few hot stones. We also use Aromatherapy to create a calming environment, the perfect vacation of a spa experience. We offer 30 minute to 2 hour sessions.
Deep Massage
Muscle tissues have many layers. Deeper pressure to address some of the underlying issues is a preference I have been offering for years. I have a technique I learned long ago that allows a 5'0" person like myself tremendous pressure. Don't let my size fool you!
Thai
Massage
Thai massage is an ancient technique based on eastern concepts. This modality improves circulation and range of motion. Massage meets yoga is an excellent description of the stretching techniques used in Thai massage. You can wear workout clothing, and no oil is applied. The aftereffects feel more energized and flexible. I immensely love this massage style as I teach this technique to other therapists. Great for runners, people with tight hip flexors, athletes, cyclists, and anyone looking to improve their range of motion. You will feel fantastic.
Medical
Massage
I have a lifetime of being a student of the human body, which continues to this day. Before becoming a massage therapist, I was in the medical field and specialized in radiology. I taught science studies at the North Texas School of Swedish Massage for 15 years, including Anatomy and Physiology. I have a passion for continuing education classes. Medical massage requires an excellent knowledge of muscle origins, insertions, and actions; this is my specialty. I am blessed to have been able to ease the pain of many clients with excellent results. If you're hurting, this form of massage focuses primarily on your chief complaint, with all modalities available to address your issues.
Facial
Massage
Facial massage is the ultimate pampering self-care experience. I have chosen a line of natural-based products that are free from heavy chemicals and dyes and have natural fragrances. I use them myself every day. There are several ways to experience facial massage. You can book a 60-minute or 45-minute facial massage or add a 30-minute one with an hour massage for a 90-minute reality escape.
Reflexology
Reflexology is focused only on the feet. This massage technique includes specific trigger point work, hot stones, and aroma therapy. You can choose a 45-minute session for your feet or make it a half-hour add-on to a full-hour massage; you can't go wrong either way.
On-Location
If you are planning an event of 4 or more people, include a massage; just call me to discuss the details. Prices vary depending on travel distance and the number of people booking appointments. Some past on-location events have included scrapbook retreats, holiday parties, friends just getting together, pool parties, and community events. One memorable event was a cruise with 13 lady friends. I gave massages at sea, and then we had fun in port; we can be very creative.

Thai massage or "lazy man's yoga" is an ancient technique. This technique specializes in flexibility and range of motion for your client. This technique is my go to for althetes looking to open up hip flexors as well as office personal trying to increase range of motion. Understanding Herbs behind Essential Oils:
Part 1

Description:
Have you forgotten your Kinesiology? This is a refresher of the boney land marks and muscles groups of the hips, low back, and pelvic girdle. We will refresh these areas and discuss techniques to help address these areas like hip flexors, stretching techniques, trigger point work, and techniques for inflammation.
I did a continued education class with Jeannie on Friday; she taught me Thai massage for the table. She is very knowledgeable about the subject. She led the class in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable. I know that there are courses online to get the CEU credits, but I learn better hands-on, so I can ask questions and see that I'm doing it right. she was saying that she had more classes available I will be taking more classes with her she made it a good experience.
I recently attended Jeannie Davidson’s Herbology class. Even though I have utilized herbs and essential oils for some time, I learned quite a bit of new information. Jeannie teaches with passion and great enthusiasm. I truly felt like she wanted to share this knowledge and not just process us to get paid. I can’t wait for the next class.
Herbology for Self-Care Part 1:
I very much enjoyed this class. Lots of informative handouts and hands-on participation. Jeannie was good at explaining many of the herbs and essential oils and what they do, and which to combine for the results you need. I will be taking part two to learn more on self-care.
Jeannie was very knowledgeable about different essential oils and the properties of the herbs.
This class was extremely informative and very well presented.
Instructor is very knowledgeable and fun!
